Ahmed Khan breaks silence on Hera Pheri 3 rumours
With Welcome To The Jungle nearing completion, rumours have been circulating that director Ahmed Khan could reunite with Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty for the much-awaited Hera Pheri 3.
However, Khan has now clarified that he is not directing the comedy sequel, putting an end to the speculation surrounding the project.
'Planning something soon' with Akshay Kumar
Speaking about his future collaborations, Ahmed Khan confirmed that he and Akshay Kumar are indeed discussing another film following Welcome To The Jungle.
"Akshay and I are planning something soon," Khan said, adding that the project is still in the development stage and could belong to the action, romance or comedy genre.
At the same time, the filmmaker stressed that reports linking him to Hera Pheri 3 are incorrect and that he is not associated with the film.
What about Hera Pheri 3?
Hera Pheri 3 remains one of Bollywood's most anticipated films, with fans eager to see the return of the beloved trio of Akshay Kumar (Raju), Paresh Rawal (Baburao Ganpatrao Apte) and Suniel Shetty (Shyam).
While the film has witnessed multiple delays and changes over the years, there has been no official announcement naming Ahmed Khan as its director. Khan's latest remarks effectively rule out his involvement, at least for now.
Focus remains on Welcome To The Jungle
Ahmed Khan is currently busy wrapping up Welcome To The Jungle, the third instalment in the Welcome franchise. The ensemble comedy features a star-studded cast led by Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty, with filming said to be in its final stages before moving into post-production.

Although Ahmed Khan has ruled himself out of Hera Pheri 3, excitement surrounding the franchise remains high. Fans continue to await an official announcement from the makers regarding the film's director, production schedule and release timeline.
For now, Khan's next confirmed collaboration with Akshay Kumar is a separate project that is still in the planning phase.
