Adhikari Alleges Massive Revenue Loss

Suvendu Adhikari alleged that approximately ₹15,000 crore in revenue was siphoned off in Birbhum district over a period of 15 years.

He linked the alleged loss to illegal mining and activities surrounding the stone-trading industry in the district.

Allegation Against Previous Government

Adhikari alleged that multiple government departments were either complicit in the alleged activities or remained silent following directions from the "highest level."

He further claimed that such an organised operation could not have continued for years without the concurrence of the head of the government, directly targeting former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
