Tirumala Temple Cancels VIP Break Darshans on Select Dates Between July and September; Check Full Schedule

Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced that VIP Break Darshans at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala will remain cancelled on select dates from July to September owing to the conduct of important religious festivals and annual temple rituals.

In a notification issued for devotees, the temple administration said the suspension of VIP Break Darshans is intended to facilitate the smooth conduct of special sevas and ensure better crowd management during periods of high pilgrim turnout.

According to TTD, the cancellation will coincide with key religious observances and temple ceremonies, when priority is given to traditional rituals prescribed under the temple's customs and practices. During these periods, regular darshan arrangements may also be subject to changes depending on the expected influx of devotees.

The temple authority has advised pilgrims, particularly those planning VIP visits, to verify the darshan schedule before finalising their travel plans. Devotees are encouraged to rely on official TTD announcements for the latest information regarding darshan timings, accommodation and seva bookings.

The Sri Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala is among India's most visited pilgrimage centres, attracting tens of thousands of devotees every day. Footfall rises significantly during festivals and auspicious occasions, prompting the temple administration to implement special arrangements for crowd regulation and security.

TTD routinely modifies darshan schedules during major religious events to ensure that temple rituals are conducted without interruption while maintaining the safety and convenience of pilgrims.

Officials have appealed to devotees to cooperate with temple authorities and follow the revised schedules during the affected period. Pilgrims have also been advised to arrive well in advance, carry valid booking confirmations and adhere to the guidelines issued by TTD.

The temple administration is expected to resume VIP Break Darshans after the completion of the scheduled religious programmes, in accordance with the regular timetable.
