Delhi Police fact-checks reports of protester's death at Jantar Mantar: ‘She’s stable’

In an official fact-check, the police clarified that the woman in question is alive and in a stable condition, urging the public not to circulate unverified claims that could create unnecessary panic.

The clarification came after posts on social media alleged that a female protester had succumbed to injuries sustained during the demonstration.

Rejecting the reports, Delhi Police said the woman is currently undergoing medical treatment and that "she's stable." Authorities appealed to users to rely only on verified information from official sources.
